In Cordoba

I don’t know whose idea it was of comin to Spain in summer, but I’m melting! No kidding, the forty degree weather is overwhelming. I havealready been to Seville and I am in Cordoba for the moment, and tomorrow, for Granada. Don’t get me wrong, it is beatuiful here, great architecture, gorgeous dames, and a great feeling that comes upon me every time I walk on the Spanish streets.

Today there was some conflict. My sister and my mother went shopping together and we were supposed to meet at seven outside the store. Not only did my mother arrive without my sister and late, but she complained to us that she hadn’t had enough time because she had gotten sidetracked seeing other stores, she didn’t apologize for being late, no, she instead took us to a pair of seats as if she were doing us a favor and then resumed her shopping! We left an hour later. Oh well, that’s what you get.
