Haphazard Raves

Is imagination better than reality? I guess it depends, because if you can get over the fact that living in an imaginary palace of thoughts is living a downright lie, then the benefits far excel the deficits. Because living in your own reality means living somewhere where all the rules are your own, where things always turn out as you want them to, and where excitement will fill you at the prospect of crating new conflicts that will be needed to keep the story going on, and with it, make life interesting. Some people think that because you control everything that happens inside the reality that is your own, then you will meet no surprises, and eventually you will get bored. They’re wrong; the mind is a dark place, one we can’t get to know entirely, so what comes out of it might really astonish the senses. If you have a vivid enough imagination, your head may function as a television set, giving you entertainment you are guaranteed to like. So, is imagination better than reality? Oh yes!
