Winds of Change?

There are times when I ask myself where my life is headed. I sometimes wonder if I am treading down the right path, or if maybe I am but I keep missing whatever boons that path throws at me. There are things I wish to change, although there are others that I like or maybe am not ready to throw away. It is all just like a great question mark, sometimes. Or more accurately, like there is a great door with a question mark stamped across it, and I strive hard to open it, but it just won’t budge.

Maybe life is about interrogations, and the trick is not to search for answers, but to keep asking questions, then forget them and focus on more questions. Let the rest who haven’t caught up struggle with them.

Anyways, I expect some winds of change to blow down my direction. I am soon going overseas to that place I love but haven’t visited for some time. I hope to find some answers there, about who I am and what it is I want. I am kicking the meds as well, and hopefully that will help me see things more clearly. And once I do, I will take the direction I see fit.

Maybe I am naive to think it will all work out, and all in one trip. But it is a good prospect and something to hold on to, so I will. No matter if nothing comes out of it, no matter if I find myself in a ditch. I owe it to myself and to the world to at least try.
